Qualifications:
15+ years experience in project management in Vaccine/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing projects.
Under the direction of an experienced Manager, Associate Director or Director, the Sr. Project Engineer is responsible for implementation of projects and studies that support business objectives.
The Sr. Project Engineer leads project implementation activities ranging from early pre-charter activities through close-out utilizing the Capital Management stage gate process with varying degrees of responsibility.
The Sr. Project Engineer collaborates with other Integrated Project Team (IPT) members, plant operations personnel, outside contractors and is able to direct the work of suppliers in the preparation of project related deliverables.
The Sr. Project Engineer also leads studies, applies Client's Capital Management Process and provides consulting to ongoing projects and existing business operations. Continued in Comments section.
Responsibilities:
Manage a section of a large capital project or independently manage a smaller project Leads development of project execution plans, verification that project scope is an effective business solution, design management, development and implementation of suitable procurement strategies, project cost budgeting and control, schedule development and control, change management, risk management planning, monitoring and control, construction management, communications management, information distribution and reporting, commissioning, qualification, contract administration and project close-out.
The Sr.Project Engineer exhibits strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, is flexible in terms of assignment locations, is expected to develop and maintain technical knowledge in the respective area(s) of expertise and provides guidance to assigned engineers.
