Location: Atlanta, GA
My client is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for their Atlanta, GA facility and the right candidate must possess the skills and have a proven, illustratable results driven history in the electrical apparatus repair industry with five to seven years experience. This company which was founded in 1921 has grown to become one of the largest electric rotating equipment repair companies in the country and their corporate headquarters is located in Riverview, FL. They have twelve shop locations throughout Georgia and Florida and their primary business focus is in motor repair; but, also includes pumps, generators, blowers, compressors and specialty manufacturing.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Oversee plant operations and prioritize all customer work performed
in the shop and field to include all the following departments: shop
operations, field service, administrative, and sales/marketing.
- Responsible for the total profit and loss of the operation
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to employees and ensure
the goals and objectives of the Atlanta organization are met
- Interface and provide excellent customer service to their clients
- Create & maintain the work schedule of employees.
- Direct the shop manager and assure the technical competence of the
shop and employees
- Develop new customers, new opportunities, and other synergistic
activities that promote the growth & profitability of the Atlanta
operation
- Maintain the present customer base as well as build new
relationships within these clients
- Assure that the operation maintains a technical and capability
advantage over competition
- Assure the alignment of policies, products, and development efforts
with corporate strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Must have management experience
Must have a minimum five years as a Plant Manager of an Electric Motor Repair Shop
Willingness to travel often
COMPENSATION:
Base Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
Commission Compensation based: Yes
Bonus Eligible: Yes
